During Engineers Without Borders Norway’s stay at Nyenga an impromptu workshop was held for local contractors. The purpose was to improve sanitary conditions.
Engineers Marte, Richard and Mats visited Nyenga during a mission with Engineers Without Borders Norway. While at Nyenga, they also investigated the quality of the water in the area.
The Nyenga Foundation thinks that good results come through good cooperation! During the summer, we lived up to this thought.

During week 14, in the beginning of April, the pupils at Sædalen elementary school arranged a fundraiser to benefit Nyenga. The pupils were diligent and used their imagination well in finding work, in stead of receiving homework.
Nyenga’s health center arranged a health camp in March. Close to 400 patients attended the two-day camp.
At the age of 7 Sheila’s legs became paralyzed. After two years off illness she can now walk again. Here’s a story of a tough girl!
